actually no i hate it. hah. cant STAND the thing. not to mention the type of windows we are running on is completely ridiculous. we need a new computer in a BAD way. we cant upgrade or downgrade from what we have. it smells of elderberries. bleh.

yep, sure does sound familiar. DO NOT EVER GET A DELL! They put things in the computer so that you [i]can't[/i] upgrade. That way you have to buy a new one. Tsk, tsk, they do crazy stuff to make money!

My dad has a three year old dell, and he can't get more space so he had to buy this (the one I'm one) computer. His computer was on the verge of crashing.

i think we got mine in 2000. like mid to late 2000. maybe it was 1999. whenever they were promoting windows me (windows millenium edition which is now correctly nicknamed windows mess up edition) is when we got our dell. i hate it so much.

dude u can upgrade dells. It just depends on what you want to do. My parents both have one and ive opened it up and its very upgradable. Mine on the other hand is completely custom and built by me. Its a beast.

actually come to think of it, upgrading a dell laptop is pretty easy also. You just need to unscrew a few comparments and you can add extra RAM, change your cpu chip or change your harddrive.
