corban711 Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 lilac_angel thanks! it is kinda funny...my mom said that when i was that small they didn't make glasses small enough yet for the prescription i needed and so all my glasses are pretty much as big as my face. it makes for some great childhood pictures like that one!

[/quote] awww, corban, i only saw your reply now! glad i did! hehehe they're adorable my brother who you looked a lot like had to wear a patch over one of the glasses at one point because i guess the vision in one of his eyes was weak. but he doesn't wear any glasses anymore...i think he might have been far sighted.

[/quote] wow!! i had to wear an eye patch on one of my eyes too. it is because it is a lazy eye..weaker than the other. plus, i am farsighted on top of that. your brother is cool!!! same problems as me. hehe except i still wear my glasses. i like them too much and they are very much a part of who i am. i really wouldn't be the same without glasses as goofy as that may sound.

I had to wear them starting in the 1st grade, and now when I look back at pictures, I'm like... 'Mom, WHY did you let me wear those??' But yes, they did have a very limited selection back then.
