theculturewarrior Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I want a laptop that's waterproof up to 200m so I can take it and live under the sea.
theculturewarrior Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 I don't know...but it should.
Dudette Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 why don't you......try and make one yourself? heh
Dudette Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 me too! Oh wait..I wanted a Mac, ok..decisions, decisions...
sweetpea316 Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Haha! Hooray for randomness! Oh, and if we can place orders, go ahead and make me one too!
JazzforJesus Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 here is an idea, incase a normal laptop in plastic make sure its sealed and the you can go like under the water, you only have problem with the power now

Dudette Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005
hmmm...I'm not sure how to solve the power problem, but I'm working on a solution involving...mules, and mylar.
You can get...power underwater can't ya? I thought ya could..but I'm clueless right now...
theculturewarrior Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 If not, I could always encase the battery pack in plastic and resurface periodically for a recharge. Or I could encase two mules in plastic, and have them crank a generator. But I don't know how I'd prod the mules underwater.
theculturewarrior Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 especially if they were encased in plastic
Scofizzle Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 or you could have it permantly hardwired and get a really long extension cord.
JazzforJesus Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 you could use an electric eel cause they produce some electricity but you have to expose your laptop to the water. hmmm can electric eels survive out of water
theculturewarrior Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 that's true! I'll plug the extension cords into electric ells on land, and then live happily ever after (under the sea). Great idea Jazz.
