rachael Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005
notice wopsim and other ppl how i said "real world"... this isn't the "real world"
and how is this not the 'real world'? we've all tried helping you. you either dismiss what we say as wrong advice or you choose to ignore it. we're just going to keep on telling you the same things: please get some help. we are all praying for you. try the link the_rev posted.
bookwyrm Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 We HAVE been giving you advice, every time you post. We're all praying for you, and our prayers are 'real'. You say you don't want to break your family apart - do you think that killing yourself won't hurt your family? PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE talk to someone - a priest, a hotline, whatever. We DO care. Please don't hurt yourself! God bless, Shannon
Fidei Defensor Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen
Birgitta Noel Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 G, hang in there. You have to tell someone about this and take some positive steps forward. This is hard, no doubt about it. You're not alone though, the pham is with you all the way! Do not be afraid!
musturde Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 G, dude, just talk to another priest. THere are a lot of priests you can go to. Just tell your parents you wanna go to confession on saturday (your Church should have confession schedules on saturday...). Find a priest that your parents dont know and go in. Do a confession while explaining the whole thing. Include the suicide thing to cuz he needs to know how severe it is and how to help u.
disturbedxfairy Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 to be honest not sure what all's going on in your life, but i hope it gets situated. prayers for you. God bless

G-Freak12 Posted February 14, 2005 Author Posted February 14, 2005 I'm rather confused by the following statement Seven77 wrote
i want you to know i included you in a 9 day to Our Lady of Lourdes, guess what happened the 9th day? you posted Whats Our Lady of Lourdes???
crusader1234 Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 She's a Saint. A Novena (9 days of set prayers) often grants you your 'wishes' (not exactly but something along those lines) and he's saying he included you in his prayers. G, you REALLY need to find a Priest immediately. There isn't a good priest on this planet that wouldn't love to hear your problem and to help you! And remember, Hell is exponentially worse than anything you can experience on Earth... don't go forcing yourself into that situation.
Seven77 Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 G, like Crusader1234 said.. i included you in a novena prayer to the Mother of God under her title Our Lady of Lourdes. Lourdes, France is where she appeared to a poor little peasant girl named Bernadette. she had a difficult life too.. someone who didnt seem to amount for much. read the link i posted http://phorum.phatmass.com/index.php?showtopic=25929 for my life changing experience there.
cimlog Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 G, man you there? Write a post so we know everything is ok right now. 1. I am ready to listen. You can open up man and get stuff that is bothering you out on the table. You can just vent to me man. 2. No secrets. I am interested in everything. 3. Please post.
Meggie Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 G, from what you say I know quite a bit about the feelings involved in your situation. No matter who hurts you, you don't want to hurt them, to tear away... Next time if the priest is busy tell him you would like to talk to him and let it be at that. Or write a note and hand it to him. Tell him some of the things you tell us on phatmass. Tell all you feel you can, until you feel you can't give anymore. I will be praying for you.
iggy Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005
i doubt it tho who would wanna help ME? no one in the real world
Okey dokey. I know from experience it can be hard going to go talk to a preist about something (having done so for the first time yesterday). I felt like he would not possibly want to make time in his busy schedule to see me, but you know what, he did. He saw me the first chance we could both meet. We talked, and he said I needed more help than he could give, and he said if I was less stable (as in currently willing to kill myself) he would personally drive me there and back, no questions asked, without telling my family, just to make sure I got the help I would need, so don't be afraid to ask. He may seem busy, but he will either make time, or find someone who can help you. I will be praying for you.
