If you go to a Saturday Vigil Mass at 5:30 pm, does that count for the First Saturday Reparation? Or does it just "count for Sunday?"

And if I can't get to a first Saturday Mass, what would you recommend doing to make up for that? Come to think of it, that's a question that's relevant for any day you can't go to daily Mass. Or Sunday Mass.

To make up for missing a Sunday Mass, of course, one should go to confession.

I don't know that it is necesarry to "make up" for missing a daily mass, even a first Saturday mass. I would suggest that when you can't make it to mass and really want to be there on a day other than Sunday, connect yourself with God in another way, like praying the rosary, or watching the Mass on television. Open yourself to receive the Grace of God wherever you are. God will not be unattentive to you hearts desire.
