Brother Adam Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 If anyone is still thinking about buying the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, I have a used, but mint complete set of the standard edition on DVD I want to get off of my hands (I'm going to be getting the extended version). Email me if you are interested.
jezic Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Why would you ever want to give away a movie that good ?

jezic Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 I guess for that reason it is acceptable. The books are still my favorite.

Catholictothecore Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I LOVE LOTR!! And, I already have the three extendeds! My email sig is "I will take the Ring to Mordor!"
heyyoimjohnny Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Oy. I want to read the books again, but my aunt has ours. And ROTK special edition really gets my blood runnin'. Anybody know of any other good books I should be reading? I've already got m'self a good list of spiritual stuff, but I'm looking for some fiction.
Catholictothecore Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 if you like LotR, try Eragon: Inheritance, by Chris Paolini. It's really, really good.

Karinsbestfriend Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 There are like way more Lord of the Ring threads here at PM than anything else
Brother Adam Posted February 19, 2005 Author Posted February 19, 2005 Well...even if it isn't people talking about why they want to be the person to buy my copies at least they keep bumping this thread up.
Apotheoun Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 The Lord of the Rings movies are an excellent adaptation of the story, and happily, I own all three films in the extended form.
Catholictothecore Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I can do whole scenes of Gollum, in a pretty convicning manner to. Phatmass stinks! I don'ts know why you stays on it! No, no, precious, Phatmass is our friend! We LOVES Phatmass!
jmjtina Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I have the standard version AND the extended version..... (I couldn't wait until the extended version to come out so I bought the standard only to buy the extended when that came out) who would want to buy the standard version when they can own the extended now? You'll have better luck just giving them away or just keeping them.
