corban711 Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 so my mom's friend from Church just called...apparently there is a tornado warning right where i live. in orange county, CA. can you believe that??? that doesn't happen very often where i am...especially in my city, cypress. but it looks like it's gonna pass this time!

They're not scary. Last tornado warning I had in Omaha, we were making dinner. Then we kept making it. Then we had dinner. Then we went to the basement... ...well actually, by that time, the warning was over...I just happened to live in the basement...

jgirl Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I'm from Missouri where we get tornado warnings all the time. Being that our state motto is the show-me state, I have to see a funnel cloud before I actually go to the basement. We usually sit outside in our garage and watch the big storms (and we aren't alone...usually many of our neighbors are in their garages, too!)
