Well, I pm'ed aloha and waited 24 hours...

I think that the answer is that the numbers are in alphabetical order (but that would mean that the eight should be first):

eight five four nine one seven six three two zero

So. Is that right? Or should we try to find a pattern with the original numbers?

Yeah, I didn't want to but aloha has been MIA for almost two days. I figured that I needed to step it up and that people who were interested had already looked at the puzzle. Honestly, I didn't want to leave people wondering. And I don't actually know if it was the right answer.
