crusader1234 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I was thinking of buying one as I'm too cheap for the full size
Philippe Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 consider this the 512 mb is 100$ the 1gb is 150$ the 4gb ipod mini is 200$ if you are seriously attached to the small size then go for it but if you are not, consider the new mini's since they do have much more space for the price
RemnantRules Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 and you don't get to choose your songs.
crusader1234 Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 Actually I guess with the new price drop a mini is definately a better option.
Philippe Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 ya you get the lcd and you can probably fit most of your library on there unless you have tons of music
RemnantRules Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 It's up to Crusader....It's how many songs you have and what you want.
crusader1234 Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 I have tons of music but not so much that I NEED to hvae with me at all times I want whats cheapest. If I had an LCD that would be dope.
Craftygrl06 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 AND if you buy through apple they give student discounts ...if you are a student
jgirl Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 That's awesome that you said it. I looked into it, and the costs for ipods with the discount is: $99 for the 512 mb shuffle, $139 for the 1 gig shuffle, $179 for the 4 gb mini, $229 for the 6gb mini, $269 for the 20 gb ipod, $319 for the 30 gb ipod photo and $419 for the 60 gb photo
shelly_freak Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005
ya you get the lcd and you can probably fit most of your library on there unless you have tons of music
Yeah, I have to pick and choose what to put on it. I mean come on, it's only 1000
track2004 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I have the Shuffle (the 512). I got it right after it came out. The cool thing about it is that it doubles as a thumb drive (USB drive). So a 512 thumb drive costs $80 and for $20 more I got music capability and headphones. I really like it because it's really easy to change up the songs, I usually only listen to a few playlists of my own stuff anyway, and I can put school papers on it.
Iacobus Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I am thinking of getting a shuffle because of the USB ease and I can pick my songs, I just can't see what they are until I play them. I only have a few real playlists so if I put them on there in order, I won't have any issues.
Philippe Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 i didnt know it doubled as a usb flash drive thats pretty sweet but if you want music get the freakin mini
