Brother Adam Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 What PDA do you have if you own one? What do you use it for? Why did you pick that one and how much did it cost?
Scofizzle Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I have a Palm Zire 31 I use it for: -Claendar and tasks :work and school -scheduling my day -it is my checkbook -mangaing all of my contacts - school work managing - the notepad is handy (shopping lists and whatnot) - MP3 player-with an SD card -holds photos too ITs really handy and only about 150 bucks....very cheap compared to some of the other models
Brother Adam Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 I've had my eye on the Tungsten E for quite some time. How do they compare?
Scofizzle Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Im not really sure....they are much more expensive....and they have the same operating system so the calendar and tasks features are the same....I dont know waht else it can do....I know with mine you can buy Outlook software and synchronize your e-mail too
foundsheep Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I have a Dell pocket pc. I found it to be much better than palm.
foundsheep Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 If your going to invest in one, spend a little more. I see to many folks having trouble with cheapies.

Jaime Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I have the Tungsten E and I can't live without it. I'm able to download my travel itinerary from the website of my travel agent directly to my Tungsten calendar. (That would be my favorite feature) One click and I'm actually organized. I also am able to download driving directions which has been hugely helpful. I have some Excel and Word documents that I can pull up. This is all aside from the basic functions of calendar, contacts, memos, etc. The biggest fear that I had with the Tungsten was the lithium battery but my fears were alleviated pretty quickly. As long as you sync up regularly (like daily) and charge it every night or every other night, you're fine. Then there are some fun things that you can download. MP3 stuff, pictures and there's a great chess game for the PalmOne. There are a lot of fancier PDAs out there but I think the Tungsten E is the best bang for the buck!! I would think you would love it Brother Adam!
