MC Just Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005
yea except didn't Lauryn apologize after? That year she was going through a breakdown -- as much as that isn't an excuse to take it out on the Church and humiluate the Vatican, but I do think she said sorry. Love, Mel
I havent read that. Must of missed it..
SevenSorrows Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005
Who's your band?
he is in cheer up charlie www.cheerupcharlie.com with members from scarecrow and tinmen
Fixxxer Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 someone bootleg it or is the show professionaly done?
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 Bono is not a catholic. His father was a catholic, and his mother a protestant. He considers himself relegious but does not attach himself to any one paticualr donomination. He has met that pope and does wear two rosaries on his neck sam
aloha918 Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 can someone show me were they heard this....i dont believe it till i see it and i think that it would be awesome..........
Stceciliapray4us Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005
I think Bono is a self-righteous expletive that needs to quit hugging trees and thinking he invented them.
man... thats harsh.
musturde Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005
man... thats harsh.
yeah it kinda is
jmjtina Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 I love U2. the rock. but I'm hoping to meet Remnant and Fr. Stan and hopefully Marsill. :cheer:
Paladin D Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005
Bono is not a catholic. His father was a catholic, and his mother a protestant. He considers himself relegious but does not attach himself to any one paticualr donomination. He has met that pope and does wear two rosaries on his neck sam
That explains it then, he's non-denominational.
bandmn54 Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005
can someone show me were they heard this....i dont believe it till i see it and i think that it would be awesome..........
You don't have to believe it, and it may not happen. I already said that it's only 90% going to happen. Besides, things happen where a band can't do stuff it last minute. I'm not guaranteeing anything. I heard it from J-Star records. They are a German record label, that want to sign us to a distribution deal in Europe. They also own the rights to a stage at World Youth Day. If all of this does go through, we will be on just before U2.
DemonSlayer Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I hope that some Catholic metal bands (ie. from Brazil) perform.
ilovechrist Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005
That explains it then, he's non-denominational.
non-denominational is an oxymoron. ANYWAY, i think its awesome that U2 is going. those guys are the biggest peace-pushers out there... very good choice by the Vatican.
aloha918 Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 i really dont see this happening because U2 is playing 4 shows over World Youth Day....and i think that they are all in the US.....so i cant say that i believe this one
Angel Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 That would be such an awesome show! U2 Rocks I wish I could go I've been looking forward to Germany since WYD Toronto, If I can go I would really love to visit Madonna House in Belgium and also Medjugorjie It would be so Dope to meet some amazing PM artists too
SevenSorrows Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005
U2 is pro-abortion.
really? where did you hear that?
DemonSlayer Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 They might be po-contraception (Bono anyway), but I've certainly never heard of them being pro-abortion.
EcceNovaFacioOmni Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Bono himself is pro-choice, and the organization "DATA" that they support promotes the use of condoms in Africa. I have been facing quite a dillema over whether or not to buy "How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb."
DemonSlayer Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005
They might be po-contraception (Bono anyway), but I've certainly never heard of them being pro-abortion.
*pro-contraception
