Tony
Fernando Alonzo wins the San Marino Grand Prix, holding off Michael Schumacher the last 12 laps after Schummy's final pit stop. Schumacher seemed to have the faster car but but Alonzo was able to block them the entire way.. 1 lap takes about a minute and a half in Formula 1!.. so yeah that was amazing he could hold him off, I thought Schummy was winning for sure. Schumacher did get some much needed points though, maybe he will get some good results togeater and maybe him and the Ferarri team can win Championships now. That was Alonzo's 3rd win in a row, so he is 1st place in points, which is helping Renault big time in the Owners Championship, normally dominated by Ferarri. I don't know if the no tire change rule they added in is making the season the way it is or what
Tony
better get to this.. kinda forgot about it since the board was down a bit Talledega top 5: 1. #24 Jeff Gordon 2. #20 Tony Stewart 3. #15 Michael Waltrip 4. #19 Jeremy Mayfield (Yay an Evernham car gets top 5!) 5. #42. Jamie McMurray Dale Jr, Jimmie Johnson, , Martin Truex Jr, and I think Kevin Harvick were up there but they wrecked with a few laps to go and ofcourse the infamous "Big One" had to happen with about 50 to go with about 20-25 cars being involved with it 1 way or another Martin Truex Jr won the Busch race. Tonight is the Busch Race from Darlington, Saturday night is the Cup Race Sunday, Spanish Grand Prix (F-1)
