1. #20 Tony Stewart

5. #48 Jimmie Johnson

Jeff Gordon was 2nd, but had a flat.. and just couldn't get himself back up there. Thats going to pretty much take away his chances of making the chase

Sterling Marlin's father passed on this morning :( Prayers for Sterling, his father, and his family

David Reutimann won the truck race in Nashville.

Next week.. they are at Michigan, with 4 races left until the Chase for the Nextel Cup starts

the local newspaper said that Kasey Kahne, Jeremy Mayfield, and Ray Evernahm was going to appear at the Quaker Steak and Lube about 1 1/2 miles away from me to sign autographs.. Only have of that was true.. they were there but not for an autograph session... except for a handful of people that won some type of drawing or something, put on by a radio station. They were their mainly to help aution off bikes for a Lukemia Charity.. which is fine, but when its in print that they were there for an autograph session, that a couple thousand people showed up to attend (Me included), thats quite a let down :( One of the managers of the Resutrant said the newspaper made a misprint, but who knows..I dont think they were the only ones that said they were there to sign autographs :idontknow: :(

Anyway, This weekend is Michigan for NASCAR:

Cup at 2PM ET Sunday, Busch at 3PM ET Saturday, both on TNT. Trucks are off.

Formula one: Turkish Grand Prix, 7:30 AM ET

well Bristol was wild.... always has been, always will be .. but the the man behind the #17 was the man tonight

1. #17 Matt Kenseth
2. #31 Jeff Burton
3. #16 Greg Biffle
4. #21 Ricky Rudd
5. # 2 Rusty Wallace

Busch race last night, Ryan Newman won it, its his 3 consecutive Busch win.... and hes not even a Busch series regular

Jeff Gordon out of nowhere has taken the 10th spot in the Standings, abd Kenseth is only 11 points back behind him, all with 2 races left until the chase starts

Fontana, CA next weekend

Kyle Busch was able to hold off everyone on a green-white-checker finish and become the youngest driver ever to win a Cup race.

1. # 5 Kyle Busch
2. #16 Greg Biffle
3. #25 Bryan Vickers
4. #99 Carl Edwards
5. #20 Tony Stewart

Kahne just missed the top 5 in 6th.

now there is only 1 race left until the chase starts. to make it, you need to be in the Top 10 or 400 points within the leader.

These guys are in arleady:

#20 Tony Stewart
#16 Greg Biffle
#48 Jimmie Johnson
# 2 Rusty Wallace
# 6 Mark Martin
#97 Kurt Busch ( when he takes the green next week)

These guys are in the top 10 but arent clinched yet

#19 Jeremy Mayfield
#99 Carl Edwards
#17 Matt Kenseth
#42 Jamie McMurray

These guys are outside the top 10 but mathmatically still have a chance

#12 Ryan Newman
#24 Jeff Gordon
#38 Elliot Sadler
#88 Dale Jarrett
#29 Kevin Harvick
#01 Joe Nemechek (Jarrett on down you can forget about though)

next week is Richmond, should be very interesting, its a night race on TNT I believe. Cmom might wanna go to someones house for this one lol
