Tony
Kurt Busch not only officially clinched his spot in the chase, but he also won. Richmond's top 5 1. #97 Kurt Busch 2. #17 Matt Kenseth 3. #16 Greg Biffle 4. # 5 Kyle Busch 5. # 2 Rusty Wallace And now the 10 drivers that are in the chase for the Cup #20 Tony Stewart #16 Greg Biffle # 2 Rusty Wallace #48 Jimmie Johnson #97 Kurt Busch # 6 Mark Martin #19 Jeremy Mayfield #99 Carl Edwards #17 Matt Kenseth #12 Ryan Newman Jamie McMurray and Jeff Gordon's cars were wrecked, which put them out of the running Tony Stewart's point lead was over 200, but now the chase has started, everyone is 5 point incraments of eachother
Tony
this weekend's NASCAR: from Loudon, NH Truck: Saturday 3PM SPEED Cup: Sunday 12:30 TNT Busch: off some Formula one to catch up on.. Pablo Montoya won the Italian Grand Prix: Kimi Räikkönen won the Grand Prix of Belgium.
Tony
1. #12 Ryan Newman 2. #20 Tony Stewart 3. #17 Matt Kenseth 4. #16 Greg Biffle 5. # 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. my man.. Kasey Kahne.. lost his cool after getting spun out by Kyle Busch.. and rammed into him deliberatly. That costed him $25,000 and 25 points. Robby Gordon, got out of his car and threw his helmet at Michael Waltrip's car after those cars collided. Robby also called Michael a "piece of ____" on live tv, so with those 2 things combined, he also got fined $25,000 and lost 25 points. I dont know what Waltrip did to deserve this, but he got fined $10,000 and had 25 points deducted. Lack of sleep caught up to be during the race, so a lot of the drama I didn't see unfold live.. Tony Stewart, who was the one that usually is in trouble, stayed out of it this time, and widened his lead for the championship to 20 points over Greg Biffle. Your Truck race winner, was Rick Crawford.
Tony
Ryan Newman won his 4th Busch Race in a row at Dover earlier, Truex was 2nd with 5 laps left, but a tire blew, and saw his points lead diminish to 26. Truck race is going on as I speak on SPEED channel Cup race, is on TNT again, sunday 12:30PMET
Tony
Jimmie Johnson wins at dover, and thkes the points lead in the process!.. Other Chase drivers Kurt Busch and Matt Kenseth had quite a few tire problems.. especially Busch who was 2nd in the race with 30 laps to go, had a couple tire problems.. then entered pit road too fast. He took 23rd. Stewart's crew just wasnt able to get his car right and finished 18th 1. #48 Jimmie Johnson 2. # 5 Kyle Busch 3. # 2 Rusty Wallace 4. # 6 Mark Martin 5. #12 Ryan Newman Jimmie Johnson's new found lead is 7 points over Rusty Wallace, Stewart was knocked down to 5th. Truck race winner was Todd Bodine.

There are still 2 races to go though

But at the end under a yellow flag, it was Dale Jarrett that won his 1st race in 3 years. 1. #88 Dale Jarrett 2. #20 Tony Stewart 3. #17 Marr Kesneth 4. #12 Ryan Newman 5. #99 Carl Edwards Tony Stewart has retaken his points lead, but he is only ahead of Ryan Newman by 4 points. Tony
I am late with this.. sorry top 5 at Kansas 1. # 6 Mark Martin 2. #16 Greg Biffle 3. #99 Carl Edwards 4. #20 Tony Stewart 5. #17 Matt Kenseth Smoke's 4th place widens his lead over 2nd place Ryan Newman too 75 points Busch race was won by Kasey Kahne!! he is not racing for points in that Series, but it is still a nice win. Martin Truex Jr. leads ClintBoyer for the lead by 49 points the Japanese Grand Prix was ran too but I am hoping to catch a tape delay of it, even thought Alonzo is already the champ. Next Week , Busch and Cup are at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charollate, NC and the truck is off yet again (they come back in a week) They are night races too: Busch: Friday 8PMET on TNT Cup: saturday: 7PM on NBC Formula One and IRL both have their last race of the year this week too, If you want them, PM me, or ask here.. don't have them off hand
Tony
Almost everyone had tire problems at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charollate. Somthing simply was not right with them. Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne were both in the lead when they had theirs. in the middle of the race, they threw out the yellow and mandaded a minimum air pressure in the tires, and they still had problems. But, the winner of the race at Lowe's Motor Speedway... was the #48 Lowe's Car 1. #48 Jimmie Johnson 2. #97 Kurt Busch 3. #16 Greg Biffle 4. #01 Joe Nemechek 5. # 6 Mark Martin Its worth mentioning that Benny Hamlin took 8th in his 2nd ever Nextel Cup Race. Jimmie Johnson's win, and Stewart's 25th place ties them for first! Greg Biffle and Ryan Neman are knocking on their doors behind only 11 and 17 points respectivly. Ryan Newman won the Busch Series event, and Martin Truex Jr. is up on Clint Bowyer by 120 points As I mentioned before, Fernando Alonzo is the 2005 F1 champ. Kimi Räikkönen won the Grand Prix of Japan, Fernando Alonzo the Grand Prix of China. That gives the Constructors title to Renault. (Alonzo and Giancarlo Fisichella) Michael Schumacher's only win this season was in that 6-car USGP, but finished 3rd in the points. We could see an American in Formula one next season, Scott Speed, member of the Red Bull team, who are buying out the Minardi team. the 2005 Indy Racing League Champion is Dan Wheldon, Danica Patrick finished 12th. NASCAR Sched for the upcoming weekend: Cup: Martinsville, Sunday 12:30PM ET NBC Busch: Memphis, Saturday 3:30PM ET TNT Truck: Martinsville, Saturday 1PM ET Speed
Tony
Martinsville is one of those short tracks that leave to a lot of cautions and wrkeed race cars, this was no different.. but Jeff Gordon was going to take it home, 1 year and 1 day after the Hendrick Motorsports Plane crash that killed 10 on their way to Martinsville. 1. #24 Jeff Gordon 2. #20 Tony Stewart 3. #48 Jimmie Johnson 4 .#18 Bobby Labonte 5. #31 Jeff Burton Stewart's 2nd place and bonus points for leading laps puts him 15 points over Jimmie Johnson with 4 races to go Clint Bowyer won the Busch race in Memphix, which cut Martin Truex Jr.'s lead to exactly 100 points with 3 races to go. Ricky Craven won the Croger 200 on Martinsville, and Tedd Musgrave is 1st in points by 54 over Dennis Setzer. 4 raes lefft there. this coming weekend: Cup and Truck, Atlanta, Busch, off. so they will all be at 3 races left after the weekend Cup: Sunday , noon ET NBC Truck: Saturday 3PM ET Speed
Tony
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car was the big talk of the garage all weekend, but it was the backflip we saw for a celebration 1. #99 Carl Edwards 2. #24 Jefff Gordon 3. # 6 Mark Martin 4. # 8 Dale Earnhardt. Jr. 5. #17 Matt Kenseth There are basically 5 people left that have a legitimate shot at winning the Championship with 3 races to go: 1. Tony Srewart 6100 2. Jimmie Johnson -43 3. Greg Biffle -75 4. Carl Edwards -107 5. Ryan Newman -107 Truck race winner, was Kyle Busch.
