XIX Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005
Just on sundays......and holy days. I guess I should try to go more.
Awesome! Daily Mass is amazing. Definitely consider it if you can get there.
McKenzie Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 When I'm at school, I go every day except Saturdays. At home, I only make it on Sunday. (Mainly because school Mass is at 5pm while Mass at home is at 8am.) -_-
Fiat_Voluntas_Tua Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Think of every martyr... then ask yourself... Would I be willing to give my life for Heaven on Earth, for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Do I love so much what Christ died for that I would be willing to give up 45 min. of my day to be in the place where every Angel, every Saint, the Blessed Mother, The Mystery of the Trinity meet at Altar. You enter into Heaven and are able to be at the foot of the Cross. Participate in the Holy Sacrifice daily, Jesus does. Totus Tuus, Andrew Jospeh
Jedi_StClaire Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 sundays and and holy days is my answer, but that wasn't a choice so I said only sundays. My mom goes to Daily Mass nearly every day, though.
hopeful1 Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 i voted whenever i get the chance, because while i do go on sundays (twice sense september) i also try to go on some days of the week when i don't have an 8am class

jiyoung Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 i put whenever i can as well because i cant always go daily. you should've put another choice of "rarely" because that answer could've gone either way...
philothea Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Sundays only, but really as often as I can. (sigh) I need to move to someplace where a decent church isn't 40 MILES AWAY. So depressed.
Q the Ninja Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I go daily, and often up to a Mass over 45 minutes away...but that's San Pietro in the Holy See.
philothea Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005
So fix the Church nearest you.
I have been trying to figure out how. Father (Monsignor, now) is several years past retirement age and a bit forgetful. He runs two parishes. So, he does everything as quick and simply as possible. He does all the readings himself (fast). No singing or music. Confession only twice a year. Church closed except for mass. The Easter Vigil was missing several required parts. I know he is trying to do the best he can. I think he's a good guy, and I respect all his hard work. But still, a whole lot of important (to me) help and sacraments are not available. Other than go elsewhere, I can't imagine what to do.
Suppongo che siete a Roma. Dove vivete? Non può essere il NAC, voi non è abbastanza vecchio. Inoltre, il NAC non è una camminata di 45 minuti del Vaticano. Dove a Roma vivete? Cam
Isaiah41:13 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I said only on Sundays. I also go on Holy Days. While I'm here at school, there is no way for my to get to daily Mass since the closest church is almost 20 minutes away and daily mass is at the same time as my classes. Father Phil (who is the Priest at that church) says Mass at my school on Saturday night @ 7 and comes on Tuesday nights for Newman Club. I try to get to Daily Mass during the summer.
