Jury Duty and Protestantism

I was on Jury Duty this week. In reflecting on it I have come to some new insights in to Protestantism which I have shared with my local Protestant radio talk show hosts who don't seem to like me too well. What do you think.

Jan,

By the way, I had an interesting experience this week. I was on Jury Duty and got on a case involving theft of some Jewlry. I won't get in to the details but one thing was interesting to me. The best way of knowing the truth is that the party that couldn't keep it's story straight was not telling the truth. That is what my last few emails to you and Jim have been about. Protestantism cannot keep it's story straight. KMMS is rife with contradiction daily. Even your own hosts contradict themselves and that is why I copied Todd on this email.

I recall last fall hearing Mr. Friel on his programm coming clean and saying he didn't really know how he felt about the Lord's Supper and it sounded like he was leaning toward a more Lutheran view of it. That Jesus was somehow truly present in it. He cited 1 Cor 10 as the scripture that was causing him to rethink his position. Now about a month ago I happened to be listening and he had a tape from last summer's State Fair on in which he got in to a debate of sorts with a young man who was Catholic. In that "debate" the young man expressed his belief in the Eucharist and Mr. Friel quite emphatically argued that he was wrong and that it was only symbolic and only in rememberance of our Lord. Certainly people have a right to change their minds. Of course KKMS will still keep Mr. Friel on as they do our friend Mr. Boyd who contradicts the Protestant "story" with regard to open theism and his recent coming out on early term abortion. But in light of James 3 how sad that Mr. Friel plants the seeds of confusion in minds one day about the Lord's Supper, then later changes his mind abot the issue. James 3 indicates the grave duty of one to teach truth. Protestantism with it's many contradictions cannot fullfill this call. Mr. Hanagraph says pre-trib rapture is false while you, jan say it is true and make a living off of it. Mr. Deway says we can not loose our salvation and Mr. Kenedy says we can. Mr. McDonald says if we do not believe in OSAS we are not saved at all, i.e. bound for hell but Mr. Deway says it's just in house debate. Protestantism cannot keep it's story straight. Therefore in a court of law it would be easy to find it guilty.

God bless

I hear contradiction after contradiction on this station, while on the Catholic station locally I hear harmony and agreement.

Here is the response I got back.
That's because we are not dictated by the Vatican, Gerald.  Now this will be my last piece of correspondence with you as I just don't have the time to deal with folks who cannot see.  ~ Jan
That's great! So a protestant apologist basically said that the reason why protestants contradict one another and themselves is because they don't listen to the Pope. I think that is something that we can all agree with!

Here is a little something that I sent them in reply that someone PMed me after they saw this thread. Exactly what I was saying!
BTW, is that Mr. Boyd the same one who teaches about Open Theism at Bethel? I remember that Open Theism and Mr. Boyd were the first nails in the coffin for us regarding protestantism. Our previous church was a member of the Baptist General Conference, which is pretty conservative. But when we learned about Boyd and his teachings at Bethel (a BGC sem!) we were concerned... brought it up to our pastor who didn't agree with it, but said it's out there... and since there was no authority to make it go away, we started to think...
I recieved permission to post this from that person.
The fruits of KKMS that I speak of are REAL!
