Soldier4Him Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 this may be an odd question, but can someone tell me what exactly the group the Masons is all about? i've heard mention of it, and that it's bad and whatnot, but i'm not so sure on exactly what they are. can someone shed some light on this for me?
Apotheoun Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Freemasonry is a form of indifferentism, that is, Freemasonry holds that all religions are the same, and of course this proposition has been condemned by the Catholic Church as heretical. The link below is to the Catholic Encyclopedia article on Freemasonry, and it provides details about the practices and beliefs of the Masons. It should be noted that Catholics are forbidden to participate in Freemasonry, or to associate with it in any way.
