Satan's/Lucifer's power

[Fidei Defensor]

I was wondering, since satan was an angel, how much power does he have? Is he outside time like God? Are angels outside of time? Does he know what is to happen in the future?

Jared,

satan has as much power as we give him. As human beings we have the ability to do the same wonderful things that Jesus did in his life on earth, but we choose not to do it. We give satan more power by our disobedience.

I do believe the angels exist outside of time and therefore have an understanding of eternal things. It would be an interesting conversation to understand if satan knows of the last things. It would seem that he knows his fate and that he is defeated, but sin darkens the intellect and weakens the will. Evil is a blinding force, so maybe he doesn't know. I think that he does know and that he wants to take us all down with him. He hates humanity, because we have the potential to become what he longed to be. He can't have it and he doesn't want us to have it either.
