Talked to Bob after Mass today

He thought this thread was hilarious. He was in Pennsylvania at his brother's (stepbrother's?) house, and they were searching the site. He saw this thread, and when he got to the part about him having a book coming out, they started cracking up.


We should start another rumor again sometime... it puts joy into rappers' lives...

it's a sad week here at St. Vincent de Paul parish and Htown.

This whole year is a year of change.

Hariri's (prime minister of Lebanon) getting bombed by the Government and people revolting agains the government. (and getting most of Syria out yay).

Pope John Paul II dying and then Cardinal Ratzinger becoming Pope.

Bob Leaving and reaching innercity youth...

I mean all these things have bad and good in them. Almost a bitter/sweet feeling. But What Bob's done is all that matters and what'll stay with us. I mean without him, I wouldn't be at phatmass right now typing this message and I might have been a completely lost soul by now. Oh and also, we get Fr. Phi back today after he recovered from cancer. He used to be a parish favorite. It was cool at mass today he was like "The Mass Never Ends" and no one said anything. The music minister told him we're not allowed to say that anymore hahaha. He's an awesome priest.

But yes, 'tis a sad week in H-town.
I cried a couple nights, cuz the idea of him leaving the youth group really hit me. But, no worries, I'm no longer in denial, haha. It's all good in da hood. WOO!!

Besides, Bob and his family are gonna do AMAZING things!! Look for Bob at the Steubenville conferences and go to his concerts... and say "hi" from us SVDPers.
