Thy Geekdom Come Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 "Pope John Paul came down from the throne of St. Peter in much the same way he ascended it..." -George W. Bush So he acknowledges that he's the successor of St. Peter, but doesn't get what that means?
Nathan Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 I don't think George W. Bush gets the meaning of much of anything. Straight up.

Nathan Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Not all Canadians are socialists. Only the good ones.
Socialism-a really bad idea to take people's money and use it to cover their needs instead of allowing them to use their own money to cover their needs. Pros: no personal abuse of wealth, more socially blind health and welfare. Cons: government abuse of wealth, longer waiting times, no incentives for medical advancements, poor medical techniques, and state controlled media. When the people who control your media have everything to lose if you find out the truth, that's a bad thing.
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Bush is a morally sound man. Id have voted for him (not 18). I like his pandering to my people... it makes me feel special.
Pffft...someone needs to move to America instead of listening to lies from Canadian socialist broadcasting.
so true! the Canadian Government is somewhat socalist. Y'all have to pay taxes out of your noses. and you get free healthcare , and (wait this is my favorite part) a Televison station, controlled by your government, they control what you watch. And very liberal up there.
Dudette Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 can't say I like it. Except the free health care. -_- oops, yes, I live in Canada.
Nathan Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 (edited) Who watches CBC, anyway? Most Canadians watch the exact same news stations as Americans do. Besides, you think the Republicans aren't paying off Fox News? Edited April 3, 2005 by Nathan
Dudette Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 I watch Movie Night in Canada....well duh, that's by CBC. The only channel we have is CBC.

If he supports even one non-negotiable, he's a liberal. Doesn't mean that all liberals support those...but no conservatives do.
