Ash Wednesday Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 For the most part despite the ignorance I think the networks have been respectful, and I'm glad there have been people like the Catholic League setting things straight... but some of the stuff people have been saying, especially Geraldo... you know, when I see Geraldo, I expect him ANY MINUTE to bend over and do the Jim Carrey "talking from the butt" trick. It would basically be the same thing.

[/quote] No...not smarter...I'm just a forum webmaster myself and used to dealing with a few types of people. I do hope that to those who call me a friend, I come across as charitable, and I like to think that I'm charitable to all...but charity means love...and love tells the truth...sometimes love requires strict discipline. It is easy to sound uncharitable when the opposing side is yelling and I am being firm, even if I am firm, but charitable.

[/quote] I've been hurt a lot, too...I was the wimpy kid. ...but sometimes, when words themselves aren't hurtful, but still hurt us...it's only because they're true...
