reelguy227 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 Hi all, I just read that St.Malachy had a vision that said that there were going to be 268 popes and then the end of the world would happen.Concerning His Holiness Benedict XVI is the 267th ,does this mean that the end is right around the corner ? And are the prophecies even true to begin with ? It freaked me out a little. Thanks and God Bless reelguy227
Theoketos Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 First off Pope Benedict is the 265th pope, and secondly these prophacies have never been affirmed by the Church, probably because the contain claims about the end times, and in Matthew 24 it is said that the end will come like a thief in the night. Also we should be living our lives as if the end were to be any second. Which reminds me that I need to get to work.
