Why "be don't lame"

i think its a play on that old 80s arcade game from which we got "all your base are belong to us".......its basically really bad japanese dubbing

there was a song with that line on it "be dont a dope, represent the pope"....it was from user electricdisk on the free cd he sent out about a year ago....
