sadly though, if they keep this campaign up, they could turn many Catholics away from the Church through their blasting of our Holy Father. let us continue to beg for God's Mercy! Blessed Mother, Mother of Mercy, open wide the floodgates of His Mercy and let His grace spread throughout the hearts of all people throughout the world, that they may be open to the Truth on these issues!

Hitler taught that the disinfrancisement, imprisonment, and eventual extermination of the Jewish people would help Germany progress into "modern times." I'm sure the Nazis felt that the Church's teachings on human rights were "backward views" as well...

they may convince some to turn away from the Church... but as my grandmother always said, "they will come back, they always do". One who has been a part of the Faith cannot remain outside of Her for long.... the beauty of Catholicism is that it isn't just a belief system; it is a way of life.... it gives to the faithful a measure by which to live and conduct themselves in everyday life. when this measure is gone -- like an odometer/speedometer in a car -- one does not know how fast/how far they have gone and they become lost...
