BeenaBobba Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 Hi, y'all. I've been M.I.A. for the past few months, but I think I'm back now for good. I've really missed it here. I haven't been up to too much since I've last posted, but I'll fill you in with the stuff I've done, etc. 1. I was in school. I took a writing class, and I took my final exam yesterday. I think I've got an A in my class, but I'll find out soon. 2. I wrote a research paper on abortion for the above-mentioned class. My classmates found my pro-life position pretty interesting, though not all of them agreed with my stance. 3. I started [i]War and Peace[/i]. And yes, I'm still reading it. 4. I attended my first Eastern Catholic Divine Liturgy at the local Melkite parish. Of course, I absolutely loved it! I'm more enamored with Eastern Catholicism than ever now! 5. I watched the news obsessively when Pope John Paul the Great was on his deathbed. 6. I cried when our dear Holy Father passed away. 7. I'm very pleased with the new Holy Father! Pope Benny is as orthodox as they get, and I love that. That's pretty much it.

theculturewarrior Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 Welcome back, Jennifer...since you've been gone, I left the debate table almost permenantly, stalked Azaelia, et al., dropped a certain aussie from conversation, became so lame that they gave me my own board, where I made friends with inanimate objects. It's been a crazy year! Just for the record, y'all, Beenabobba is the one who nominated me for Church Faithful.
