Theologian in Training Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 We were informed last night that my grandmother, who has Alzherimers, got pneumonia and went into Congestive Heart Failure. She does not look that good, and her breathing is very labored. My mother and aunt said that she really perked up when she was anointed, and she seemed happy to receive communion from me. However, it appears that she is not really doing that well, so if you would not mind, please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Claire. Thank You God Bless
Birgitta Noel Posted May 24, 2005 Posted May 24, 2005 Oh Theo, Prayers for you and your fam. May the angels lead her to heaven. -_-

Theologian in Training Posted May 25, 2005 Author Posted May 25, 2005 Thank you all again. There is an upper respiratory infection going around the nursing home so I did not go today as I too am affected since I have heart problems myself. Thanks God Bless
Theologian in Training Posted May 25, 2005 Author Posted May 25, 2005 I want to thank you for all of your prayers. My grandmother passed away just a couple of minutes ago. Eternal rest grant unto her, O lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen
Birgitta Noel Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 Oh Theo, I am so sorry. No matter how old someone is when they pass away we always want more time. May Our Lady wrap you and your family in her loving protection, and may your Grandmother enjoy the glory of the ressurection this very day. -_-
Theologian in Training Posted May 26, 2005 Author Posted May 26, 2005 She went quick and died peacefully. The hospice worker said she looked up and smiled at 2:30PM and died at 3:00PM (the hour of mercy). I am going to see if I can preach at her funeral and do the burial. Thank you all again for your many prayers and for keeping her in your thoughts. God Bless
