Dj 86 Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Ahhhhh man this is such a great new feature!! I think a mid-week feature is a great idea! The John The Baptist of the industry" does it again!!!
MilesChristi Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005
I really love this aspect of phatmass. May add one more during the week. (Mid Week Reflection) What do you think?
That'd definitely be awesome, Father.
immaculata Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 wow... God bless you both!!! Thank you Father and dUSt!!!! (oops... dUSt missed my siggy... I'm gonna go change it before I get beat up  )
ForHimAlone Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 This is a great feature! I've really liked listening to the past two, and I'm looking forward to the ones to follow. Thank you, Father, for sharing your vocation story with us! How beautiful!
philothea Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 Beautiful. Made me smile for the entire five minutes. Mid-week? What, not daily?? Okay, okay... I'd like a mid-week reflection too.

Lounge Daddy Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 I just listened to it – and my kids came into the room when I told them I was listening to a short sermon by Fr. Pontifex lol My oldest two (11 and 9) particularly found it interesting, esp our thoughtful 9 year old boy. Wink Very nice – our household is listening.
Pontifex Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Thanks for the kind words. Will do my best to stay on schedule. Blessings to you all. Peace..

Yes, and keep it under 5 minutes padre. "Father's Phat 6 1/2" just doesn't have that same ring to it.
Pontifex Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Yeah, The Five minutes is actually harder to stay on than I thought. Peace
jezic Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 (edited) k dude that was awesome. Pontifex/Fr. Burns (I think that is the name :S) those reflections are great. Even though it was six minutes, it could have been like thirty i would have still been listening. (don't worry that it was longer than five. It was great, Just let the Spirit speak to you. Sometimes "he" gets long winded though and if it is longer than an hour i might have to wait till i am at home to listen to it. ;)Somehow God really has a way of speaking to the heart if you let him. Thanks so much ..... i still wish they were daily reflections, but ohh well i don't get everything i want. Edited June 13, 2005 by jezic
Fides_et_Ratio Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 the best priest I know is incredibly long-winded (we always joke that he should just give one homily next Mass instead of 5/6/etc.) Father's phat six and half sounds cool! What about Father's phat phifty? lol.
Fides_et_Ratio Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 phivehundred, phify, phifteen... how long can he talk?
jezic Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 phivehundred sounds good Though we better let father sleep sometime so how about phat phourhundred ninety-nine
dUSt Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 I'm just thinking about my grandma who still has to download them on a 56K connection.
jezic Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 it is true that they take longer to download over the 56k. That is alright though. You will just have to tell her they are worth the wait.
