maaaan, why is catholic biblical commentary on the internet so hard to come by?

[journeyman]

because the copyright is still active?

[journeyman]

Jesuits (especially if the description says it is applicable to all Christian faiths) don't seem to be in high repute here, but this is the first full set of retreat presentations I've seen on-line

[url="http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/AudioRetreat/Shanahan/shanahan.html"]http://www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMini...n/shanahan.html[/url]

Perhaps an addition to the audio reference?

A Weekend Retreat by Fr. Tom Shanahan, S.J.

Fr. Tom Shanahan, S.J. gave this retreat at the Demontreville Jesuit Retreat House, Lake Elmo, Minnesota,
February 5-8, 2004.
It began on Thursday evening and ended on Sunday night. All 14, half hour talks are here.

These Retreat Conferences begin with a short introductory prayer followed by a thirty-minute conference based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Though the retreat was shared with seventy men at the Jesuit Retreat House near St. Paul, Minnesota, the spirit and direction of the retreat is for women and men of all Christian faiths.

I haven't listened to any of them - going to wait until I get back to a fast connection

We should raise money to spend the next year of our lives just putting together a website of Catholic reference material (something like newadvent, but more geared toward Bible commentary and things that newadvent lacks).

I'm sure we could find benefactors. :-)

[phatcatholic]

dude.........that would be a dream come true.

if you are able to find anything just let me know. i could certainly use your help.

[Cure of Ars]

When I win the lottery I am going to buy the rights to the navarre commentary and put it online.
