Brother Adam Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 (edited) Since early in the weekend I've been really struggling to study (which isn't good since I got a 100% on my first test!). I've got a billion thoughts running through my head to develop the new creation website, and to top it off my Red Green DVD set (Mounted and Stuffed 6 pack) should be at my door any moment which will be really distracting lol. Soo much homework to do though. Agh. I hate days like this. carp...this tells you how distracted I am. THis thread should be in Open Mic!! Edited June 20, 2005 by Brother Adam
jezic Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 hehe that is funny. Um my hint to you would be to study. It will pay off, besides it is about cool stuff.
philothea Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Tee hee. You could try what I do... post a work thread (I guess this is it) and you have to go work for 30 minutes or so many pages, or whatever, until you can check back again. When you have finished that bit of work, set a timer for 15 minutes of goofing off. After that, back to work! Um, and I guess we have to try to debate something now. The merits of homework?
Brother Adam Posted June 20, 2005 Author Posted June 20, 2005 Red Green is here! Red Green is here. Foul temptation comes disguised as the strangest of packages.
Noel's angel Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I can never study-I always get distracted by Paul Simon or something. Maybe you should try what I do-don't bother revising. It works for me and I've been doing great this year. Sometimes you can clutter your mind with too much info, so just relax, safe in the knowledge that you know your stuff
philothea Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 (also struggling) Gah, somebody rip out the modem and tape me to this chair! Okay, not REALLY...
philothea Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 I dunno... then I'd go find something else to do. At least it's fairly boring and slow here right now. Um... not to insult anyone... :hide:
Dudette Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 haha, I agree with you........uh...yeah...poetry is very boring.
philothea Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Well, I'm here at least until the roofing starts. Then I might go sit outside, because otherwise I'll keep straining to hear if anyone fell off... (Husband is redoing the garage roof.) I have opened the wordprocessor. No file loaded yet. Whew, time for a break!
Kilroy the Ninja Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Moving to Open Mic...... Good Luck with the studying Bro.!
sweetpea316 Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 Haha... fancy that... I'm having issues with studying too... Statistics is just so...not fun! I've got a 99 average in there now, so I have some leeway and can still make an A, I just don't wanna slack too much. Why am I still on here? hehe
Luthien Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005
what is red green?
Its a great comedy show that takes place in the backwoods of Canada. My Dad wheezes with laughter whenever he sees it.
Noel's angel Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 i love wheezy laugh, it tickles my ribs. I need advice. If you eat all your priests favourite biscuits when he's not in, should you buy him another pack??? Darned man shouldn't leave me in the house alone with Kit Kats....
