Well you can knock me down. Step on my face. Slander my name all over the place. Do anything that you wanna do. But uh-uh honey, lay off of my shoes.

I won't be as big a braggart as Cam :P...I'm not fluent, but as far as international students go, I'm ranked in the 99th percentile. :D

quid es veritas?
what is Truth? (best line from The Passion)

(from one of my favorite prayers...)
"peccavi, Domine, paccavi, et iniquitatem meam agnosco.
Quare peto rogans te, Domine, remitte mihi, remitte mihi!"
"I have sinned, Lord, I have sinned, and I acknowledge my
transgressions. For this reason I beg to ask Thee, O Lord, forgive me, forgive me!"

It depends on a number of things....gender, tense, whether it is the subject or the object....it isn't as easy as saying which goes where. What aspect do you want to know?

DEUS meus, ex toto corde paenitet me omnium meorum peccatorum, eaque detestor, quia peccando, non solum poenas a Te iuste statutas promeritus sum, sed praesertim quia offendi Te, summum bonum, ac dignum qui super omnia diligaris. Ideo firmiter propono, adiuvante gratia Tua, de cetero me non peccaturum peccandique occasiones proximas fugiturum. Amen.

O MY God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

In case you were curious.

Anima Christi, sanctifica me;
Corpus Christi, salva me;
Sanguis Christi, inebria me;
Aqua Lateris Christi, lava me;
Passio Christi, conforta me;
O Bone Jesu, exaude me;
Intra Tua vulnera, absconde me;
Ne permittas me separare a Te;
Ab hoste maligno defende me;
In hora mortis meae voca me
et jube me venire at Te,
ut cum sanctis tuis laudem Te
in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Suscipe, Domine, universam meam libertatem.
Amen.

Take, O Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my whole will. Thou hast given me all that I am and all that I possess: I surrender it all to Thee that Thou may dispose of it according to Thy will. Give me only Thy love and Thy grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will have no more to desire. Amen.
