Can someone tell me what Old Catholic is?

Historically, it is a group churches who were former diocese of the Roman Catholic Church who refused to accept the decree of Papal Infallability from the First Vatican Coulcil. They call themselves "old" in the sense they adhere to the pre-Vatican 1 decrees. Ther are web sites that explain their existence. Put Old Catholic into the search and it will bring up a number.
