I just realized today there were two "be not afraid" phat5s . . . and (I have got to get a better internet connection) I did 6 or 8 or 10 housekeeping things while waiting for it to download at 40kbps . . . by the time today's is posted, maybe I'll be back in the office with a T1 . . .

thanks Father - you keep me thinking - excellent point about being so "familiar" with the crucifix that we forget what a horrible way that was to die . . . so many people want to think about the Resurrection and the blessings and forget the death and redemptive sacrifice

Father, another thought provoking topic this week. How can we "weed and seed" ourselves to move from rocky or thorny into good soil? Learning and understanding the faith are a good start, but one way I think I fall short is that I am overly "intellectual" - how can we create the willing "heart" to go with the knowledge?
