You just hit the print screen (PrtSc) button and then open up your Microsoft Paint and paste it there, and then save it as a bitmap or jpeg.

You can propbably use other photoshop programs too.

Because my old computer would freeze up and crash (Win 98), I would do a PrtSc and create a screenshot so that I didn't lose the information before the dreaded blue screen itself appeared.
