White Knight Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Who here is a NFL fan or even a College Football Fan? If so on ethier side, Pro or College. What is your favorite team?
Guest Eremite Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 New England Patriots. Represent. They're gonna be the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls, I guarantee it. As for college, go BC! They just joined the ACC, so it should be fun.
Paladin D Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles (wow, I'm going to get killed).
zealousrap Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Philly all the way...and we are rediculously better than last year even now before training camp...even if every team has our number, you will see us back in the super bowl in 06, unless mcnabb gets hurt. and I'm confident we'll get there without TO...we've gotten to the championship 3 years without him with teams less than half as good as right now. I would like to see an all PA super bowl...

You aren't gonna kill me, aren't ya?
Guest Eremite Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Not only did Pittsburgh lose, they were demolished. The high flying colts were held to a field goal in the playoffs. Come on, just accept the dominance of the Patriots. Resistance is futile.
Dj 86 Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 (edited) The Philadelphia Eagles!!!! With or without T.O. were taking the trophy back to Philly this season. lol... Paladin D = prob the only person in America who is both an Eagles and a Cowboys fan hahahahahahha!!! Edited July 12, 2005 by Dj 86

ardillacid Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) I guess I would have to say the Minnesota Vikings since they are going to win the super bowl this year. Least favorite=Packers who smell of elderberries and lick toilets for fun Edited July 14, 2005 by ardillacid
dUSt Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 is Catholic. Enough said.
Guest Eremite Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Tom Brady is Catholic, and so is his father. IN FACT, his father will be speaking about the importance of his Catholic faith at the proud2BCatholic concert. http://www.proud2bcatholic.com/index.php Put that in your pipe and smoke it. And certainly let's not forget Tom Terrific has THREE Super Bowl Rings, and TWO Super Bowl MVPs. Our dear friend Favre has one.
zealousrap Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 (edited) as much as I hate the patriots, yes, Tom Brady is Catholic. His dad is supposed to rock the house july 30 Edited July 14, 2005 by zealousrap

There is nothing like being a Philly fan living in the City of Brotherly Love....it's amazing!!!!!!!!!! Even the bridges put up green during the season..... I'm so excited there are so many eagles fans... Although, paladin, how could you like the Eagles AND the Cowboys!!!! That's insanity!!
Tony Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 I wish Ricky Williams didn't wait until after the draft to come back to the Dolphins (we picked up RB Ronnie Brown as our 1st pick)

There is nothing like being a Philly fan living in the City of Brotherly Love....it's amazing!!!!!!!!!! Even the bridges put up green during the season..... I'm so excited there are so many eagles fans...
Yeah, it's an awesome site to see. Philly really loves football, I can tell you that.
Although, paladin, how could you like the Eagles AND the Cowboys!!!! That's insanity!!
Started when I was a young boy about 7 years old maybe, there was a football game on TV. My mom told me that they were called the "Dallas Cowboys", me with my young boy brain thought "They named a team after me!" I spent the rest of the game literally pointing at the screen, figuring out which one would be my favorite player. Eventually, my "Eagle-devout" parents brought me an Emmitt Smith poster, then I knew that he would be my favorite player. Since both my parents grew up in Philly, both were diehard Eagles fans and hated the Cowboys. But as time went on, they still liked the Eagles but weren't so hateful against the Cowboys. My younger brother is an Eagles fan, and I used to be a sole Cowboys fan. But in recent years, especially with Philly losing the NFC championship 3 times in a row, I felt they deserved to win a Superbowl. I slowly started liking the Eagles, they reminded me of the old days back near Philly. But I couldn't abandon the Cowboys, since I had a lot of memories rooting for them, buying their merchandise, and having a team "named after me". Thus, I am a Cowboys and Eagles fan. Let's not forget the times when other kids and even relatives would pick on me because my name was "Dallas" (and they were Eagles fans). And to top it off, living in Wilmington, DE, with a name such as "Dallas", I was in two enemy zones (Eagles and Redskins both are big rivals against the Cowboys).
