Christie_M Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 oh. It's LOTR. I like the books better...I havn't read them yet, but I know there gonna be good.
ardillacid Posted July 17, 2005 Author Posted July 17, 2005 WARNING: contents of LOTR may be addicting
ardillacid Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 i'd like to go over a few parts i like to argue about. the eye of sauron. i contend its main power lies within the palantir he holds in his stronghold
philothea Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005
eh age doesn't matter. even homeschool mom posts in here. have you read the silmarillion?
(sorry about being so slow to respond...) Yes! I have read the Silmarillion, and the Book of Lost Tales too. I used to read a novel a day, but when I ran out of new books I'd re-read LOTR. Fave parts: Lothlorien (I want a tree with yellow leaves!) and the paths of the dead. I skim all the descriptions, and the battles. I only realized this when I was reading the book aloud to someone a couple years back... and there were parts I didn't recognize!
justin165243 Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 "i started dem but never finishd dem cause they were boring" what the heck? maybe ur just too young to be able to handle all the adjectives and really appreciate.
