Noel's angel Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 if you have read Harry Potter backwards you obviously have too much time on your hands...

Tony Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 I heard Harry Potter was a West Ham United supporter somewhere

One of JKR's friends is a big West Ham fan and it's in her honour that West Ham is the only football (soccer) team mentioned in the books. This friend's surname is Troy, which is one of the surnames of the Irish quidditch team in Goblet of Fire, all of whom are named after friends of JKR. *knows too much HP trivia*

azaelia Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Harry Potter is bland, badly written, and vapid...but harmless.
Mrs. Bro. Adam Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 Hey! This is supposed to be a thread where those who oppose Harry Potter can say their piece and not be argued with, so that they won't have to repeat themselves over and over

This is supposed to be a thread where those who oppose Harry Potter can say their piece and not be argued with, so that they can feel special and think that they're actually right.... But I love the movies. I think Harry Potter is cool, just not very moral. Like, he never gets in trouble for doing anything wrong, and he dosnt help people...only himself. Kristina
Ora et Labora Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Ugh! I always do that1 I didnt mean to quote you mxcncatholicgirl! Sorry.
Kaeldra Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 *is amused* I think I like you very much Mrs. Bro Adam
Mrs. Bro. Adam Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 Well...I promised I wouldn't argue on this thread, so I'll just keep quiet on that one
