Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion, the Hobbit, Unfinished Tales, all by JRR Tolkien. A super good series i just read is the Children of the Last Days septilogy (?) by Michael O'Brien. excellent excellent excellent. If you don't want to read them all then i recommend, Plague Journal, Father Elijah, and Eclipse of the Sun. Don't worry all these books are written by Catholics

Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne! It sounds infantile but it's actually very cute and clever!

Yes, One can never out grow Winnie the Pooh.

As for more suggestions, I really enjoyed Ender's Game and that series by Orson Scott Card. Oh, and 1984, by George Orwell is excellent. All Quiet on the Western Front is very good...kind of depressing, especially when you have to write a research paper on it, and go way in depth, but it is really quite profound. A very good read. As someone mentioned before Patrick F. McManus, if you want a good laugh. Oh, and I also loved reading The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis. Or the Chronicles of Narnia, for that matter, if you haven't already! That's all I can think of off hand.
Happy Reading.
