What's the view on the Eastern Orthodox church?

The Eastern Orthodox Churches have a valid priesthood, and as a consequence, all of their other sacraments are valid too.

Sadly, at the present time, the Orthodox Churches are in a state of schism from the See of Rome, and so their participation in the mystery of redemption in Christ is wounded.

Hopefully at some point in the future they will be restored to full communion with the Catholic Church.
