Fidei Defensor Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 http://laurensdelangereli.blogspot.com/200...s-painting.html This is a zoom on a part of the restored version of the last supper by Leonardo Davinci. [they] overlayed an image to facilitate the perception. It should appear for a half second every 4 seconds or so. Can you see the image? I wonder if it is also visible looking at the original.
StColette Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 This topic kinda reminds me about something I heard in the news a couple months back. Some doctors were in the Sistine Chapel and they noticed that certian images looked like human hearts, brains, etc. http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/science/80156.php

reelguy227 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 as in the words of yoda "interesting ...very interesting "
Socrates Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I really didn't see anything convincing in the image. (sorry to spoil people's fun)
Jaime Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I've seen the original "The Last Supper" and I don't remember any portion of it lighting up like that.. Of course I had to leave quickly, I was being chased by a man from Opus Dei! Loooong story!
StColette Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 We studied this picture heavily in Art History and I don't remember seeing such an image. lol Yeah I see it now. But when we studied this one picture for about 2 weeks I don't recall ever seeing an image within it.

Dreamweaver Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Cool... I was expecting it to be a "whats wrong with this picture", where a ghost pops up after a minute.
reelguy227 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Thats kind of creepy ,so thats not in the actual now is it ?
Ash Wednesday Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Da Vinci and Michaelangelo are probably both laughing at all the conspiracy theories that have surfaced about their work.
