She replied "are you saying I'm fat?" being a younger brother to eight sisters I know when to keep my mouth shut. Needless to say, I gave no reply for fear of tripping over my own tongue.

I paid for most of it so I had a say in almost everything other than her dress and her bridesmaids dresses. She had to justify how much we were spending on everything to flowers to food before I would write the check.

That's where phrases like "Check out that altar boy" and "I'm in love with every (Catholic) boy" come from. Guys who love Christ, and love themselves are being swooned over, whether they know it or not. But girls want to be pursued, you know? All that romance stuff. Women love coagulated milk. "I prayed a rosary for you today." Or whatever. "I was reading the Bible, and this quote reminded me of you." (as long as it's not from Hosea or something... lol) As far a screaming and jumping up and down... that's like lust. (Oh, Michael Buble... swoon) You don't want a bunch of girls lusting after you, you want one girl to love you purely and unconditionally. As far as attraction goes, every girl is different. I have one friend who loves beards, another who loves thick glasses and clef chins (I kid you not). See, there's a girl attracted to every type of guy. And the more the girl loves you, the more attractive you become. You know how women think with their whole brain? Well, we can't be objective, not easily. We look at you, and also at all the kind things we remember you doing, and how you love Christ. That said, hygene, hygene, hygene. Okay, hope that helps a bit.

If a guy talks a lot about things he thinks he know, or even does know, it's a turn-off. When a guy can have knowledge but not feel the need to enlighten the world all the time, its awesome. Also one who is very faith-filled, but not rigid towards others. Some guys are constantly correcting others for stupid things....that drives me nuts. Eyes are important....and how gentle a guy is. I personally like someone who is muscular, but not a macho guy. And to believe I found a guy who fits all those things and more! God is Good!! :wub:
