kateri05 Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 http://www.oncecatholic.org/forum holy cow guys, this place is wack and not the good kind! i'm not sure of the fuzzy bunny status, but if you guys have free time, you should DEFINTELY get your fuzzy bunny bums over there!
phatcatholic Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 ugh, i can't stand forums that are structured like that, where each thread is like a branch on a tree.
StColette Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 I don't like the structure of it either. Hard to keep up with what has been said.
Technicoid Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Um.... I'm a bit confused. From what I can tell, the point of the site is for fallen away Catholics to come to a better understanding of the Church's real teachings and to bring those people back to the Church. It looks like some of the posters have some mistaken beliefs about the Church, but we could say the same for posters here. Was there a specific thread that troubles you, or am I simply looking at the wrong pages? Bill
philothea Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Some areas look fine, but I just looked through some of the "felt excluded" posts. Ugh. Don't they have moderators there? These people are making stuff up as they go along!
kateri05 Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 lol yea i looked in felt excluded (not really too much else) and the responses are TERRIBLE... i'm like, the goal isn't to LIE toget people to come back.
EcceNovaFacioOmni Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 It is run by American Catholic. Both sites got red ratings from Catholic Culture. Let's hope CC will accept my application for a review...
MissScripture Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 It looked to me like a bad case of the blind leading the blind.
