Can The Priest Blab My Confession?

I said something very incriminating and very scandalous in the confessional face to face with a priest I am close with. He is also close friends with my godfather. This confession was about two months ago. He called my godfather up to say he wanted to talk about a few things. You don't think he would even hint at what I confessed, would you? He couldn't even hint, could he? I'm worried sick about this.

No, he cannot. He is bound by the Sacrament. The sin has been absolved and therefore does not exist any longer, assuming the usual conditions have been met, contrition and penance, as well as a firm resolve never to sin again.

Here is what Canon Law says:
The sacramental seal is inviolable. Accordingly, it is absolutely wrong for a confessor in any way to betray the penitent, for any reason whatsoever, whether by word or in any other fashion.

The confessor is wholly forbidden to use knowledge acquired in confession to the detriment of the penitent, even when all danger of disclosure is excluded.

A person who is in authority may not in any way, for the purpose of external governance, use knowledge about sins which has at any time come to him from the hearing of confession.
Have no fear, you are safe, concerning this.
