annie Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Check with groundskeeper Willie on the Simpsons---always a good education--

Noel's angel Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 i always think that it is better to learn from people who are from the place, rather than websites. Don't get me wrong, the site will probably have a lot of great information but I'd also ask some Scottish people as well to get a real insight into the Scottish way of life
inDEED Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 The English are bad...Kilts are good...Alcohol is good... The Scottish rule... FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!!!!!!

A moderate amount, but I'll be busier after the 15th of next month. See next answer.
what do you want to know?
Everything I need to out-celt my brother if I could put it so. He knows way more Scottish stuff than I do and a bit of other celtic stuff. For as much as he gets into Japanese stuff so that we've commented to him about forgetting he's not Japanese on one or two occasions, he said something similar when I had no idea who did Lord of the Dance and did not recognize the name. I don't know if that is Scottish, but that's Celtic at least. My brother also knows a lot of Scottish songs and some old traditions and history and stuff. Edited July 26, 2005 by Light and Truth

Laudate_Dominum Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 I know a think or two about the ancient history of the Scottish people. I don't know much about their modern history sadly. They used to be Irish, back when the Irish were Scots (in a different sense).
