Participating in Mass as a non-Catholic

Recommended Posts

Posted

As a non-Catholic attending Mass, I am well aware that I am not permitted to partake in the Eucharist, but am able to participate in the Liturgy.

Is there somewhere on the net where I can learn the order of the prayers in the Liturgy. I’ve been to Mass twice and it’s hard to follow.

Thanks,

God bless

Try this ^^^
There should be a lot of stuff out there.

If not you could order the Magnificat.

It has everything for everyday of the month in it.

There are also many books at the parish for people who go to daily mass that have the full order of the Mass in them. Maybe ask the priest.

God bless

try that site for now... I think there's an easier to use one somewhere.. but I'm having trouble remembering where it is.

does the parish you attend use a missalette (paperback book with all the readings for Mass in it, etc.).. most missalette's have the parts of the Mass (and even the prayers for the day, separated by date) somewhere in them.

this site is maybe a little easier to follow.

does your parish not have printed sheets for the Mass?? They're great because they save having to carry a missal to Mass

Does anybody have a missal, I still don't get what all is in them. If you have one do you use it? Is it hard to use...I've never had the time to figure out the ones at the church.

yeah, i have a missal-its very dear to me so it doesn't actually leave my room lol. They are really easy to use-theres a calendar at the back with all the cycles and dates and a load of prayers at the front
