commercial for gay and lesbian channel on my cable

[quote name='Noel's angel' date='Jul 27 2005, 08:48 AM']its channel 680 on SKY-we only recently got it and I didn't even know about it until 2 weeks after when I was flicking through channels.  Funny how they advertise every other channel but when it comes to religion, they shy away-'don't want to offend any Non-Catholics'.  What about Catholics who are offended by dating channels???

a couple ownerships ago.. our Cable Company had given away EWTN Coffee Mugs.. We had one, but it got lost

[quote name='homeschoolmom' date='Jul 27 2005, 08:43 AM']It used to make me so irritated that Nick Jr. would put on commercials between shows for crappy Brittany Spears cds and carp... "Hello, we're trying to watch Blue's Clues here!!!!" I wrote to Nickelodean and they pretty much told me "tough noogies." We only have the basic cable now.... Networks and local government, school board meetings etc.

What's weird is I don't think any of our cable companies offer EWTN (we never had it when we had the gazzilion channels) but my mom (who has never had cable) can get it. It's way up on the dial (like 54 or something). And of course, she'd never watch "that Catholic channel" (or any other religious station, for that matter)... It just seems like it's being wasted...

SIGH

I only watch the weather channel myself, and Sloth is always just too tired to change the channel.
