Laudate_Dominum Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005
If that's true, then I'm glad I'm not Catholic. I doubt even Mother Theresa was quite perfect and in life she was one of the most saintly people I have been honored to live in the same century as. But if my life could be a fouth as holy as hers and I lived to have a fourth the faith she did, then it would be a good life.

Snowcatpa Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I don't know that I'd be the patron saint of this, but here's one that I hope we get a patron saint for eventually, especially given the problems it wrecks in our culture: body image, eating disorders, anorexia/bulimia/binge eating/ disordered eating, all that jazz. We have no saint for that yet Yay for the catch-all "lost causes" and "bodily illness" saints though

Old_Joe Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) I would say Patron Saint of rejects, but St. Patrick took that one. I notice that there aren't too many Patron saints of Patron Saints or Ptaron Saints of the Paranormal. Edited August 1, 2005 by Old_Joe

I'm surprised that St. Isaac Jogues isn't cause he had his fingers gnawed off by local natives on one of his missionary trips.
