John 15:13 "Greater Love has no one than this

Okay, a Question about Self Sacfrice.


Lets say you have a love one who is about to die, but you have the oppertunity to lay your life down to save this persons life from death. Would God see this has Honorable? considering you are basically fullfilling what this verse in John 15:13 says?


Even know I know its met for what Jesus was talking about. about how His's Love would require His Death, and Resurrection. to demonstrate His greatest act of Love.


Later on in the chapter Jesus later reveals that He no longer calls His Disciples by Disciples, but rather by Friends.

If it is in God's will that He would accept your life for your friend's or loved one's life then yes He would take that as honorable
