life on other planets?

[Leah]

As many of you know, there is evidence to show that water once existed on the planet Mars. This leads to the possibility that life, however primitive, may have been present at some point in time. If there is extraterrestial life, what do you think the theological implications will be?

I don't think they could be rational, otherwise Vatican II would be wrong...unless they were meant to serve us.

Also, they would probably have to be without sin, otherwise they would need a Savior/Redeemer, and that creates a world of fun troubles.

Here is something for discussion.

Couldn't there be another universe out there. One that may be similar to ours. One that God may have created for Himself. One that we don't know about. Maybe the people in that universe has a Bible too.

What do you think?
