When Finding the Truth Means Losing A Lot

Hi Gang:

I thought you would find the following article about what happens to a Jehovah's Witness when they convert to the Catholic Church interesting. Here is the link:

Thanks for the great artical, Jeff. I had no idea that former JWs were shunned. Very interesting. God bless your apostolate.

HSMom, hard first week of school? :ohno:

Jeff, thanks for the reminder that not all converts have an easy road - and bless you in your task, you didn't pick an easy one.

Note the time of the post....

I'd already been up for two hours with a sick toddler... :P:

Excellent article, Jeff. When I was in the hospital two years ago, my roommate was a Jehovah's Witness. She asked me if I'd like to take a look at one of her books for consolation, but I politely declined; however, I did see an opportunity to talk about Catholicism with her. If I remember correctly, we discussed Mary. I think I might have flustered her a bit, which I regret in hindsight. (I tend to be pushier than I'd like when discussing religion and such.) In the days after our discussion, she was friendly with me, but I got the impression that she might have felt guilty about associating with me.
