Paladin D Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 You spelt it right. There is a great chance I'll be going. :
TrinityAddiction Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I want to, but its sooo expensive.. Its not gonna happen this year, but I'm hoping that the next time 'round...
dUSt Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Phatmass, Point 5 Covenant and Mars ILL will be there, bringing in a good dose of orthodoxy.
TrinityAddiction Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Aww, now I really want to go! Have fun there Greg!

our group is going, and actually it's only about $836 per student, only which $100 was out of their own pocket (or their parents' pockets, lol). everything else is being fundraised.

That's what my parish had in mind, only we'd be lucky to get $100 fundraised per person. Whatever we failed to raise would come out of the participants pockets. And if I went, my older sister would want to go as well. And this year for some reason we didn't do the fundraising thing at the fair we used to do. It was our biggest money maker. Unless the parish I'm moving to has something like only $100 dollars out of our pockets per person, I can't go. Christie_M Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 This sounds really fun! too bad I can't go Have fun everyone!!
ninjakyle Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Popple will be there. We are on a waiting list for a booth, but we have a 25 minute stage time (probably in front of a bathroom line or something like that). But hey, it is about that one person right? I don't need a crowd of 25,000 to have a good time. Hope to see/meet yall there. I will be wearing the shirt that says, "I can't stand Popple" JK, don't have a shirt like that, but it would be funny eh?
Paladin D Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 How much are the tickets/passes per person? If it's over $100, I doubt I'll be able to go. Not talking about packages, since we'll be driving there and getting a room on our own.

i don't know how much the passes are, but do you have hotel reservations already? cuz you'll be hard-pressed to find a hotel room near the convention center because churches get them in blocks of rooms.
philothea Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Google's first hit on NCYC is the National Collection of Yeast Cultures. I'm much too un-youthly for the National Catholic Youth Conference. Hrmph.
